 Select Fine Art exclusively sells and promotes the original work of Leeds based contemporary artist,

                                 David Beal.

I work in both acrylics and oil on canvas and produce originals only. I'm a full time artist, with collectors from all over the world. All pieces are gallery wrapped which means they are ready to hang without framing

Statement

"My work explores the balance between colour shape and texture. I paint with oil and acrylic and use a variety of different application methods e.g. brush, palette knife and extrusion. The combination of the two mediums and differing techniques enables me to attain the texture and depth of colour I desire. I reference various elements of nature and human creativity and with that explore the balance between organic and geometric shape their fusion and ultimately their beauty ".

Home visits can be arranged for you to view current inventory or images emailed. Also, pieces can be commissioned to any size.

I often do one to four day exhibitions in Yorkshire and other parts of the U.K. If you are interested in meeting me and viewing my work at one of these events please get in touch so I can provide a list of future shows.

Hope to see you at any of these exhibitions. There will be special show pricing  on some pieces. Also if you require a custom piece and it's ordered at one of these exhibitions you will receive the show price .

Pieces can be purchased and taken home straight away at any of the shows.  I can deliver within a reasonable distance of Leeds or after an exhibition if you live fairly close to the venue. Shipping after the show is also an option. All artwork is insured and sent by Special Delivery and packed by me personally.

Pieces can be posted anywhere and I have very satisfied clients from the West coast of Scotland to "that London", Hawaii to New York and Cleckheaton to Huddersfield.

Please note that most pieces on this site are sold. As I only do originals, the best way to purchase a piece would be to visit one of my exhibitions. If you are unable to do that, no problem, please browse the images on this site and get in touch. I can the let you know what I have available and send you jpegs with prices or create a commission piece for you.
